As an example, we purchased romaine lettuce at a local grocery store. We took that lettuce and applied ozone treated water for 20 seconds. With time lapse photography, you can see that the lettuce became much fuller. The ozone treated lettuce also killed 99.9% of bacteria and viruses, including salmonella and E. coli.
In another study, we did a side by side test with iceberg lettuce, half in one plate and half in another. Only one plate was rinsed with ozone treated water. During the time lapse, you can see the treated lettuce becoming fuller and improving in appearance and health.
